Prehmis (Patient Record and Health Management Information System) is a Primary Health Care System designed to capture basic patient information and capture the various services provided to patients in order for automated reports to be generated.
The main focus of Prehmis is on management information and therefore not all clinical information is stored in the system. For this reason the paper based patient folder is not replaced with an electronic version and Prehmis is not a full EMR system.
